Where We Will Explore
A varied journey transitioning from dense urban architecture and street culture out to the open tidal horizon.
1. Liverpool Anglican Cathedral
The fifth-largest cathedral in the world. Towering sandstone arches, dramatic vaulting, and deep stained-glass light make this the ultimate location to practice interior architecture, symmetry, and exposure bracketing.

2. Bold Street, Ropewalks & Street Life
Liverpool’s indie heartland. Packed with buskers, street art, quirky shopfronts, and eclectic pedestrians. We will explore candids, timing the decisive moment, and composing dynamic urban narratives.

3. The Three Graces & Pier Head
The iconic waterfront skyline: the Royal Liver Building, Cunard Building, and Port of Liverpool Building. We’ll capture dramatic angles, monument scale, and waterfront details along the River Mersey.

4. Modern Architecture & Geometric Lines
Contrasting Victorian stone with contemporary glass, sweeping escalators, and sharp angles. Ideal for working on minimalist framing, reflections, and modern architectural abstracts.

5. Antony Gormley’s “Another Place” Sunset
We finish our day up the coast on the sands of Crosby Beach. 100 cast-iron figures stand staring out to sea across a two-mile stretch of coastline, creating haunting silhouettes against the late-afternoon Irish Sea sunset.
