  • ✅ Understanding focal length for storytelling
  • ✅ Tips for twilight and night-time photography

Where We’ll Explore

This isn’t just one good spot — it’s a full-day journey from coast to city, stopping at iconic and lesser-known gems along the way.

  • 🟢 St Mary’s Lighthouse – classic coastal structure on its own tidal island
  • 🟢 Seaton Sluice – quirky sea-carved channel and huge rock stack “Charlie’s Garden”
  • 🟢 Northumberland’s Blyth Beach Huts – bold colours and clean compositions
  • 🟢 Newcastle Quayside – Tyne Bridge, Millennium Bridge, The Sage and more
  • 🟢 Byker Viewpoint – perfect alignment of all the bridges at sunset
  • 🟢 Post-sunset reflections – city lights mirrored in calm water
