Lightroom and Photoshop Tutorial

In this tutorial, we show you the full process in transforming a RAW file into this final image

This is the original photo – taken in March 2020 with a Canon 5D4, 16-35 F4L IS lens and a 3-Stop Cokin Z-Pro ND Grad filter

We start with the RAW, progress through our workflow in LIGHTROOM to get the image “almost there” and finally finish off the photo in Photoshop

The photoshop part shows you the power of:-

  • luminosity masks
  • layers
  • masking
  • curves

These simple tweaks totally transform the image from a standard Landscape into something with punch and presence – giving you new techniques to use forever

The Result

This is the final image we created.

You may prefer the first shot, you may love this, the techniques we show you in the video are universal and will enable you to edit your shots far more powerfully and quickly than before
